BREAKING: Audu Maikori collapses at Muson Center while taking selfie
Audu Maikori, Chocolate City boss, has just collapsed at the on-going 2017 Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) event holding at the Muson Center, Lagos.
It was not clear what the immediate cause of his collapse was, but we can confirmed that doctors at the venue were able to revive him and he has since been taken to St Nicholas hospital for further medications.

Audu had just finished moderating the Q and A sessions with Mo Abudu and was taking selfie with fans before he collapsed.
Recently, the Choc City boss was put under pressure, following a series of tweets credited to him, over the saddening development in Southern Kaduna.
Often, he shared gruesome photos of what he alleged to be corpses of people killed in the mayhem.
However, some twitter users called him out saying those photos were not from Southern Kaduna.
One twitter user even went as far as asking the Department of State Security Service (DSS) to arrest him because he was posing a threat to peace in the country.
The DSS arrested Audu and kept him in detention for almost 24 hours, after which he was released, following the intervention of some top Nigerians.
It was later revealed how the Choc City boss was misinformed by his driver.
Legit.ng reported that the driver lied to him about the Kaduna state College of Education killing by Fulani herdsmen, a development which made Maikori publicize the killings trusting his driver.
He had to tender an apology to Kaduna state governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai over the false tweet that five students of Kaduna state College of Education, Gidan Waya, were killed by Fulani herdsmen. But for the statement issued by the school authority and Kaduna state government, Maikori would have been fighting a baseless cause.

Excerpt of Maikori’s statement read:
"My driver Simon Joseph had travelled to the village to attend his younger brother's burial and on his return on Monday, the 30th of January 2017, I asked him for pictures from the burial, the ID card of his brother and also pictures of the casket so I could submit to the authorities and he told me that he had phone issues so he could not store pictures on his phone.
He told me, however, that his sister had the pictures on her phone and I proceeded to give him money to go to Ikeja to get the pictures from his sister, so I could present these to clear my name. He didn’t return till evening, and when he did, it was without the said pictures.
At this point, I began to strongly suspect foul play. I again questioned him about the veracity of his story to which he swore on the bible that his brother was dead and even began to shed tears."
Audu has a strong influence on the young people and people do not just follow him, they identify with his brand, we can only hope that the cause of his slumping at the Muson Centre, are not fatal.
